All Monopiles Installed at World’s Largest Offshore Wind Farm

Recently, Seaway7′s Seaway Strashnov installed the final monopile at Dogger Bank C in the UK. This wind farm constitutes the third phase

of the 3.6-gigawatt Dogger Bank project and is the world’s largest offshore wind farm currently under construction in the UK.

Seaway7 secured the contract for Dogger Bank A and B in the summer of 2020, followed by the same scope of work for Dogger Bank C the following year.

Following the completion of all 95 monopiles for Phase 2 of the Dogger Bank wind farm, Seaway Strashnov commenced operations at Dogger Bank C

in April 2025. Over the coming months, Seaway Alfa Lift will continue installing transition pieces to complete Seaway7′s foundation works.

Late last year, Seaway7 signed another vessel booking agreement with the Dogger Bank Wind Farm joint venture—comprising SSE Renewables,

Equinor, and Vårgrønn—to support turbine transport and installation operations.

It is reported that the first two phases of the Dogger Bank wind farm, each with a capacity of 1.2 gigawatts, will install 95 Haliade-X 13-megawatt

wind turbines respectively; the third phase will install 87 Haliade-X 14-megawatt wind turbines.
