Opgw Tension Clamp

The manufacturer provides a complete OPGW strain clamp, including strain clamp, pre-twisted wire protection wire, grounding wire

and necessary connection fittings. The tension clamp should be of pre-stranded wire type, and should be able to withstand at least 95%

of the ultimate tensile strength of the optical cable. The end of the pre-twisted wire protection line should be round and slippery and

slightly upturned. Contains the following accessories:

The protective thread pre-twisted wire is made of galvanized steel wire or aluminum-clad steel wire. The inner wall of the pre-twisted wire

is glued with a layer of fine emery to increase the friction. The pre-twisted wire is pre-formed into four sub-bundles during processing in the

factory to avoid installation errors and facilitate quick installation. The ends of the pre-twisted wires are bent radially outward to avoid

squeezing and damaging the optical cable.

The tension clamp is suitable for the tension tower of the line. In order to ensure the integrity and reliability of the tension clamp function,

in principle, the pre-twisted wire clamp can only be used for a permanent and safe use, and it is generally not allowed to use it repeatedly.

to clarify whether the model and specifications of the fittings are consistent with the requirements of the optical cable before use.

 

Although OPGW cable has high mechanical strength, incorrect cable installation can still cause damage to the cable. To avoid twisting and

twisting of optical cables, dynamic bending should not be less than 40 times the cable diameter, that is, to ensure that there is a bending

radius of at least 600mm during construction, and be careful not to be twisted at all times. Any damage will affect the service life and

transmission characteristics of the optical cable. When the OPGW cable is to be tightened, only special fittings, fixtures and devices can

be used. For this project, we require the use of pre-twisted wires to increase the force-bearing area, increase friction, and reduce the

movement of the outer strands.

 

OPGW optical cable tension-resistant series connection type installation.

(1) Use pre-twisted wire tension clamp.

(2) All kinds of bolts and nails on the hardware string should be uniformly threaded except for the fixed ones.

(4) The grounding lead should be installed at a uniform position across the entire line, and the grounding lead should be natural, smooth

and beautiful.

1) When winding the pre-twisted wire, ensure that both ends are neat and keep the original pre-twisted shape.

(2) The threading direction of various bolts and pins meet the requirements, and the cotter pin double-opening should be 60°~90°.

(3) The optical cable lead and grounding wire should be led out naturally, the lead should be naturally smooth, the direction of the grounding

and groove clamp should not be twisted, or be vertical or horizontal, and the bolt tightening should meet the torque requirements.

(4) The repeated use of the tension-resistant pre-twisted wire of the optical cable shall not exceed two times.
