tension cable clamp is one type of single tension hardware that used for  completing  the

tensional connection on a conductor or cable, and it provides mechanical support to the 

insulator and conductor. It is usually used with fitting like clevis and socket eye on the 

overhead transmission lines or distribution lines.

Installation points of tension cable clamp:

1. Select the filler strip, which can be directly cut from the line (steel stranded wire/aluminum

clad wire/steel core aluminum stranded wire). The length of the filler strip is basically the

same as the winding part of the tension clamp.

 2. Install the pre-twisted tension clamp, just install it on the ground. After the tension clamp

is inserted into the heart-shaped ring, install the first leg of the tension clamp from the color

code of the tension clamp installation, and wind the two Only one pitch is enough,

and then install another leg.

 3. Continue to wrap the two legs on the filling strip at the same time, so that the end of the filling

strip is basically aligned with the end of the tension clamp. In order to facilitate installation, the

lines of each leg of the last two pitches can be installed separately,otherwise it is easy to

cause deformation of the wire clamp and the tail cannot be installed in place. Note that

the installed clamps cannot have lines crossing or misalignment, and ensure that all

line ends are installed in place.
