Ball clevis is used to attach ball and socket insulators to other associated tower hardware. Ball clevis belong to link fitting.  It is used for insulators, suspension clamp, clamp and protection fittings connected to form a suspension or tension string set of fittings.
It is made of malleable iron or casting steel and hot-dip galvanized.
Cotter pins are stainless steel,
The other parts are hot-dip galvanized steel.
